I always thought it attached to the little windshield things. But this doesnt make any sense.

This is for the Filson edition because of the type of top it has. The lightbar attachment will look similar to what's on the Overland rig.The CGI picture does look a little funny, but I'm assuming it's intended to attach to the mounting points built into the top of the windshield.
::EDIT::
Looks to be how the Filson Concept lightbar is attached.
The lightbar on the overland rig is attached to the top of the roof rack... which the OP's picture does not have.This is for the Filson edition because of the type of top it has. The lightbar attachment will look similar to what's on the Overland rig.

Yuh. No duh.this is modified
only the LED strip light bars right? i was gonna get the round onesAnd for those who've never owned lightbars, they're obnoxiously loud (aka whistle) if steps are not taken to reduce the noise and even then there is definitely noise.
so no chance of roofless lightbars?I talked to an engineer at the Super Celebration West and he stated that the lightbar is mounted in two different ways.
1) Mounted to the roof rack mounts in the front
2) Mounted to special brackets for those without the roof rack (same mounting location, different brackets)
For sure there is. If you mount them at the rack attachment points.so no chance of roofless lightbars?
is there any info about said attacthement points? because as far as i know its only for the roof rackFor sure there is. If you mount them at the rack attachment points.
I'm just going by what the guy you quoted said.is there any info about said attacthement points? because as far as i know its only for the roof rack
