How to change speed limits in my navigation system from Kph to Mph

Hi all,

I have Outerbanks 2021 in Puerto Rico, and I have tried everything to change the speed limits from Kph to Mph. Indeed, I went to the Ford concessionary and they told me it is configuration that cannot be changed, what for me is difficult to accept.

How could I change?

It should be in the Radio screen settings. Settings -> General -> Measure Units.

I tried several times, as well look if there is any option on the Nav. system and nothing change.

On your instrument cluster you shutoff be able to change that.

Saludos. Yo creo que es un tema mas de como han codificado los limites de velocidad. Tu sabes que en PR no se deciden. Los rotulos de velocidad en millas y los marcadores de carreteras en kilometros.

Eso es tan cierto, viví en Cabo Rojo durante 7 años. Siempre parecía recibir multas por exceso de velocidad.

On the stereo, if you go to settings, then general, then to measurement units, you select miles & mpg. If you see the last 2 pics, you will notice MI to E and km to E. It changes instantly.

Seems like there should be an easier way. For those of us that routinely travel from the MPH world of the USA to the KPH world of Canada. (An old style speedometer with both MPH and KPH would be better than the “advanced” digital display).

I tried all things you already mention, unfortunately nothing happen with the speed limit of the native navigation system and the information shown in the cluster.

It looks something that is not proper configure for PR.

On a related note, when traveling in Mexico it showed the speed limit in KPH but speed in MPH. Would be nice if the the units were consistent to avoid confusion.

Fully agree, I think is a matter that Ford needs to configure properly.
