If only there was some other roof option for the 2 door. Maybe something made out of - Oh I don't know - some sort of fabric perhaps...then you could get folks their Broncos now and get them their proper hard tops later.....just a thought.

Something like this maybe.... Now if we could unselect the MIC top....

Once again.... WHY wasn't Ford keeping an eye on this shit for the last 2 years? They wait til now to say Uh Oh... Houston we have a problem! This truly is yet another Ford failure to launch.

Maybe it's a good time to tell EVERYONE... you get a soft top, you in back get a soft, you over there get a soft top... and because WE fucked up, we'll sell you a hard top for the same upgrade price you see in the B&P tool!
Ha yeah I’m sure Ford just sat there doing nothing so all of this would happen. I’m sure they LOVE having there bronco debut being botched…..

It’s comical how every day there’s a slight rumor about something being delayed and some geniuses swear the sky is falling, and condemn Ford. Even funnier is the entitlement that Ford owes them. You could drink Budweiser your whole life and never get a free can, why does Ford owe anyone anything ?

Yep, they set a few rejects outside to wait on an approved top... someone sneaks a few pics of them and the internet melts down from the speculation. And everyone wonders why Ford doesn’t send out every tidbit of information every day... it’s because the world would be burning down by now

Okay, so you folks need to get a hobby or something. We now have prospective Bronco owners stalking the manufacturing facility, trespassing, and taking unlawful spy photos of production units and posting them on social media. So OP, do you know exactly what "Bad Roof" means? Like rdass623 said, this is a fraction of a days' or weeks' production, none of us knows what bad roof means and what the QA procedures that are (a) correcting these few units that you've photographed, and (b) what manufacturing procedures are being instituted to mitigate whatever issues are causing a "bad roof" condition.

You guys really need to step away from the internet, realize your toys are not coming on your birthday, and let Ford resolve its issues. It will be far better for your mental health. Just calm down, "Bad Roof" written on a few production units is not the end of the world, doesn't reinforce that the Bronco launch is the biggest fiasco ever in the history of automotive manufacturing, and doesn't mean any of us 2-door order holders are not going to get our new Broncos.

Just relax.

And they are all automotive manufacturing experts... LOL.

Budweiser sent me on a cruise once. There were several free cans, and bottles, involved.

I’m sure with all the rain they have had in Michigan lately it has caused noticeable leaked from the roof. Better to make an adjustment on them now to fix the problem than recall them down the road. It may be a good thing they got all that rain now because it would suck having to deal with a leaky roof while it’s in your driveway!

Ugh….

Hey Ford….. incentivize us to stay. I want to believe, help me keep the faith. Seriously, this is starting to be a “help me help you” thing.

Agreed per above, thanks to all the QC staff for holding the line.
Special financing would be a “real” incentive!

they have to top them to store outside , hence the bad roofs installed for the weather .
those are the roofs that are bad and are being useful to this extent until they get the good roofs ready.
have faith grasshoppers
the 2D broncos are good to go just needs to catch up on the roof setback

Well shit, that's quite disheartening. However, we have no way of knowing when those tops were produced. Hopefully that problem has been solved by now. But I can't help but wonder when Webasto will get their all their shit in one shock, and get the ball rolling.

The moral of this story is to pick up your Bronco from the dealer in the middle of a downpour.
