I am running the Ford Performance Bilsteins with Dobinson's coilovers with 36.5 inch BF goodrichs and they had been working great for me for sometime. I had some overlanding gear too on my bronco earlier (about 70 lbs) that I have since removed. Recently I developed back issues and noticed that the pain keeps coming back everytime I drive. Now my commute for work is 50 miles every day so was thinking of more comfortable options. I have a set of ICON CDEV shocks that I bought but never got the opportunity to install because coundnt be confident on any shop that was equally good on the mechanical as well as electrical stuff. However now I am thinking of changing over to CDEV and running them at the plushiest at 1 when I am commuting. But then ICON's have a reputation for being firm and digressive just like the bilstein and probably more so. So asking the hive if anyone has experience running the CDEVs at their plushiest and whether its softer or at least similar to OEM. Really at this point the pain is such that I would actually appreciate as soft as the ride can get.
