Is this flimsiness on the interior door handle normal?

This is a relatively minor issue, but I’ve noticed whenever I pull my driver’s side door handle to close the door from the inside, it’s a bit loose/flimsy. It’s only the outer part of the trim that is loose, not the inner part of the handle itself. I’ve attached a video to show the issue.

I can’t figure out if it’s just the cheap interior or if it’s worth taking it in for a warranty fix (just got the Bronco two weeks ago).

Ok took it in to Ford. They tried to tighten the door handle but they said they couldn’t figure out any way to do that. They contacted Ford Engineering to get some advice. Anyway, I’ve got the Bronco back until they hear back from them.

Loose bolt maybe, if you're feeling froggy you can probably tighten it yourself much faster than dealing with Ford.
My guess is the OP is just much stronger than all of us, and a simple opening of a door almost rips it from its housing.

Thanks for this - have been trying to track a diagram down. From what they said, the clips are the issue, but I guess they couldn’t figure out how to tighten those? Idk.

That's definitely not right. Neither my '21 or '22 do that.

@TS0323 did the dealer find a solution for your loose handle? My driver side is doing the same thing.
