Took my 1k miles Bronco BadSquatch to the dealership because I heard popping whenever I accelerated and I had a CEL for an O2 sensor. Turns out the fine auto workers in Detroit don't know how to tighten bolts to spec and my driveshaft, axles and a lot of other stuff was loose.

C'mon Ford, stop living up to the expectations people have of you and actually make a good product

Ain't just Ford. The driveshaft of my new 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee FELL OFF at a stop sign after I'd owned it for less than a month. Needless to say I didn't own it much longer after that.

Thanks, though honestly that's not mine. I had a white '88 for a while just like the pic and when I wanted one for my profile I realized I'd never taken any pictures of my own! Thing was a tank! I also had a '91 Isuzu pickup for about ten years. That was a light tank. Edit: You helped me realize I'd put the wrong year in my profile.

Yeah they're definitely all made like that. For sure not an outlier.

Meanwhile a year and 9k miles with mine and not a single issue or hiccup.

Shhhh… been eyeballing the Ranger Raptor and at $57K (fully loaded) it is a great deal in today’s market, won’t last though ADM and demand is going to drive the price up just like the Bronco, IMO anyways…
