Prototype of a pet barrier.

Anyone have this dog barrier? The prototype looks better than the production version. Looks like bolts are extending 1/2" past the nut.

We ended up using a larger profile on the panel so that the rear view mirror was still usable.

There larger profile looks better but what's up with the bolts? I don't want me dog's nose getting cute on those.
