I finally got around to installing the 4WP fender flares delete kit I'd picked up a while ago. Installation was pretty easy other than trying to hold a couple of retainers in place while I tried to get the bolts in. I really like the look now! Very aggressive compared with having the giant fender flares on. Honestly, the flares didn't help much as far as keeping debris off my body panels. What do you guys think of it?

Looks a lot better on a two-door than some pics I've seen with insane poke.

Just picked up a set on clearance.

I wanted to use them just for trails... do you think it would be too much of a pain to go back and forth? Impossible?

I like the look and thought about getting a similar set, but personally canā€™t get over how far the modular bumper sticks out without the flares on, and I donā€™t really want to change my bumper.

It isn't something I'd personally want to switch back and forth between. I left out a few of the included rock light mounts since I didn't plan on using any.

I'm thinking about removing the end caps on the front bumper for that exact reason.

To each their own but no thanks. Looks incomplete or like somethings missing. Not to mention they give that weeble mobile poke look. Otherwise a nice looking Bronco. Sorry but you did ask.
It's all good! It's definitely not a look for everyone!

I like mine. Aftermarket bumpers helped me like them a lot more.

Definitely remove the front end caps and also swap out the rear bumper to anything narrower and it looks a lot better. I went cheap and got the Havoc rear bumper and looks/works great IMO.

Remove the end caps and you won't have the bumper extend beyond the body. You gain clearance with your approach and gives a minimalist bumper appearance. I removed mine for the removal of my crash bars and install of my lift. With the increased height, I like the look as it gives a peak up Luna's skirt.

I was all about the fender delete kitsā€¦ until I finally saw one on a 4D while drivingā€¦ completely changed my mind about them- looked weird with the wheels poking out so much. It doesnā€™t look bad on your 2D but just something Iā€™d need to see in person.

IMO, going with a set of tall and skinny tires on a stock +55 offset wheel with flare deletes (can't bring myself to calling them fender deletes as that is just wonky šŸ„“) would look killer. It would accentuate the lift and minimize the poke.
