Bought Bronco used with only 1 key fob. Warning came on that battery in fob was low. Replaced battery but warning still coming up. Any help would be appreciated.

Sometimes I've encountered a "new" battery that was already low so maybe try another?
Also, see if you get any luck placing it in the recess in the bottom of the console to try and "reset" the fob?
Just guesses really.

Correct battery? Installed properly? (not upside down)

Try with the spare fob and if that works fine. Use that battery on your main fob and see if the warning goes away?

Maybe the other fob is still in the vehicle? Done a deep dive into the rig yet?

Battery is a 3.0V and if not 3.0V or slightly higher, it will call it low. We got a load of "new" Energizer fob batteries last year that all tested just below 3.0V and all caused the message to come up after replacement. You almost need a DVOM to test it or you could just get another battery but get a different brand or different store.

Just put the fob you have in the house. Get in the Bronco and hit the start button. If it starts, thereā€™s a fob in there somewhere. My guess, between the driverā€™s seat and center console. Ask me how I knowšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Interesting you say this. Itā€™s happened to me numerous times but I read somewhere that my phone would act as a key so I assumed that was what was happening.

Found slightly mangled but still functional key fob in passenger seat frame. Changed battery. All good! Thanks for all the replies.

This is possible on a few Ford models, but not Bronco.
