Sounding more and more like this is the way to go.
Bit late for the Christmas wishlist, but next time I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket I'll probably bite. 😁✌🏼

I'm gonna plug my Audison 8.9 in to high level signal since it auto sums and it's next to B&O amp when MTI rack arrives, and run new wires to front dash speakers to see how it does, since the Kenwood does so well with high level.

Worst case I'll buy AtoB module if don't like the B&O DSP management.

Yes...this! I did exactly this and it made all the difference. Also got my audio setup from TrailSeven.
Hey, so I went ahead and ordered the kicker 200.4 from Trail 7 to go along with the kicker CS speakers.
It gets here Friday.

Since ordering, I've been reading that the chime sounds in my car are going to become "unbearably loud" ... 🙉
Did you experience this?

If so, did you remedy it?

I've seen multiple threads and multiple solutions, but figured your be the best to ask as we have the same equipment installed.

Thanks in advance.

Good catch...yes, I did. You gotta play with the two dials on the side (gains). If I remember correctly, the slightest adjustment can make all the difference. After you get it installed and tuned, dont shut it all up. Play around with the audio for a bit to make adjustments. Watch their Youtube install video and you should be fine. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. TrailSeven is also great with customer service. Good luck!

It's easy to do in forscan, change 720-01-01 xxxx - xxx4 - xxxx to 720-01-01 xxxx - xxx0 - xxxx under IPC module.

Moves all the chimes from being run through the speakers to the IPC internal speaker.

I can barely hear them now with music and my exhaust. Without loud music you can hear them normally .

My issue is on my old 2024 base 7 speaker audio system, upgrading to kicker cs, mabett rear pods, and forscan changes without touching the sub or amp made a world of difference.

On my new 2025, the same setup sounds no where as good as it did in the 2024. The flat EQ makes it worse. It's better with regular EQ but the bass is no where near the amount in the 2024 with the same kicker and forscan setup

Hey Chris,

I installed the Kicker 200.4
However, when I run the DSP it sounds terrible. Speakers crackling even at low volumes, and unpleasant to the ears (to say the least).

What setting did you set your kicker 200.4 dip switches to?

Are you using the DSP setting or no?

I still have the gains all the way down on the amp.

Also, do my you have a sub woofer on your setup?

I did the Ford fusion amp with kicker 6.75" sub to replace the fake ones that it got built with.

Also, does anyone know if the other speakers signal is affected when you enable the power to the sub in forscan?

Maybe because I have that setting on, but the fuse removed during the DSP setup it's messing something up?

Or did I get a faulty wiring harness??

Gah. So frustrating.

Hi..and apologies for the delay.
Yes, I use the DSP setting turned on. I did the whole pink noise calibration. I do NOT have a subwoofer. I cannot remember my DSP switches but I will open it up under my steering wheel and take a picture and upload it here. Hoping I can do that later today and I will get back to you.

Thanks for that Chris. 🤙🏼🤙🏼.

I'll play around with the high pass filter and try turn the gains up just a hair to see if I get an improvement.

It sounds pretty good as is, but it is endlessly frustrating that the DSP process has only made the sound worse so far.
Fingers crossed, and thanks to all for the continues advise.

The only other thing I can think of, and not sure if it makes a difference - when you did the Pink noise calibration, did you set all the audio settings back to factory first? Thought I would just throw that Hail Mary out there. Best of luck!
