I’m looking to get pretty new shoes for the brute this spring, driving a standard Badlands 2.7 Auto, going 285/75/17, which would you choose??? Gimme your thoughts, opinions, experiences…

I have both treads, one on an 86 Bronco and the other on my Taco.
Both sets are new and haven't had a chance to get any wear observations.
My KM1s lasted over a decade and I have heard great things for both treads.
I'm assuming the Yokos are much cheaper?????
Can never go wrong with BFG.....just steep on price.

Rock crawling performance would be the priority, I’m guessing any mid terrain with larger voids would be an improvement over KO2’s in the mud

Nice! Yeah the KM3’s are 30% more than the Yoko’s, definitely a factor

They both are excellent on all sorts of terrain, even pavement. For the cost, the Yokos are your first option if you want trail stability involving rocks. The BFG sidewalls may be better, but no one is complaining about the others. Lol

Not on your list and there isn't a 75 only 70, but I've got the Maxxis Razr MT's in 35x12.50x17 and they do great in the rocks and around town. I thought they were loud but that turned out to be a front diff grinding itself into an early grave... lol I think? It was covered by warranty. But anyway, great tires.
