Great, now Ford is gonna issue another recall for improper hand placement suggestion.

They will need a steering wheel recall first cause the hand placements formed into the wheel are at 9:30 and 2:30 lol

My Kids were taught 4 and 8 on the wheel in Drivers Ed in the 2000s, they were told that putting your hands anywhere above the center line could cause you too hit yourself if the airbag goes off...

I think they change the positions every couple years just cuz all the injury statistics change that often.

I've had the airbag go off with my hands on the wheel (got t-boned by a WK that ran a light). It threw my left hand into the side window hard enough that I had blood pooled under my fingernails, but otherwise no injuries. It definitely gave me a healthy respect for how powerful airbags are, though.
