LED Signature Headlights -- only one side on after shutting down

Hi Fellas,

I have noticed today that only one side of my signature LED headlight ring on once I shut the vehicle off, is this normal?
And I think I have one of the door not closed properly. However, when I clicked the key fobs, both side lights up again.

any input on this?

Sounds like a dealership warranty issue to me. That’s not normal.

Yeah. It doesn’t look normal to me either, and it only happened once, now I can’t replicate the same situation again. Maybe I will ask my dealer.

If it only happened once I wouldn’t worry too much about it. It’s when it happens 2, 3, 4+ times I’d be bringing it into the dealership. Might just be a simple loose connection.

This happens about one every thirty or so times. I noticed that it happens more often if I shut off my rig, quickly jump out and use the keypad to lock, that rh ring stays on until I unlock and lock again. Been to the dealer three times for it. The dealer has swapped out headlight assemblies as well as did some module updates, but still having issues. Last they told me was they were discussing with Ford engineering dept and would keep me updated. Its a slight inconvenience but managable until they have a resolution.

If anyone else has ideas, I'm all ears.

Same here. Just noticed it once.

I wish it only happened once. This started happening about about four months ago and I feel like it's gotten more frequent over time.

It looks like I will need to keep monitoring and see if it happens again.
