Hi all,
I have a 2-door Badlands ordered with the steel capable bumper. I recently removed that to add the JCR Vanguard bumper (steel) and Warn Zeon 10-S winch (from the FP kit, but used the winch only). I don't know exactly how much heavier the JCR bumper is, probably 2x the OEM capable bumper weight - very stout. I didn't take great "before" measurements, but with the bumper and winch installed, the front end dropped around an inch more than the original "rake" look. Currently the top center of the front flares are about 1.75" lower than the back flares.
I don't have the budget currently to do new shocks all around, and the Bronco only has 22K miles, so planning to get another year or 2 out of the Badlands shocks then will reassess. My 1.75" height diff (front to rear) is empty, so I think a 1.25 or 1.5 leveling kit is about right. With some gear in the back, it should be just about level. The local shop I'm working with suggests the Ready Lift 1.25" kit (link below). Anyone know of a reason to avoid this one? If so, what do you suggest?
