yes I was considering that,but I wanted to see if there were other recommendations

Rigid has one. it comes with their roof mount kit for light bars. It's very effective but the noise damper may not work with all aftermarket lights.

Cut the molding to extend 1" out from the bottom row of the fins and fit in the bottom row with the spiler shape curved down.
