Would it cause the Blow-off valve to reduce pressure or the waste-gates?
What I'm hearing sounds like the Blow-off valve relieving.
Thanks for your help!
It's possible. If it cant get a good IAT reading it may put it into a limp mode and allow no boost

I have a new IAT sensor on order. I really appreciate your help with this.

Yes, I my swap them out this evening, but I think it's the PCM that's making it blow off.

I changed the oil last night. No problems noticed. Spark plugs are one-step colder than the factory. I regularly pull one and I have seen nothing to indicate an issue. BTW e85 makes the plugs look almost new. Thanks for your input.

While towing my trailer home from the hunting lease my Bronco went into limp-mode. I'm wondering since I have the ZFG e85 tune and I had to fill up with questionable 93 octane gas during the trip, if that could cause the problem? I tried disconnecting the battery for a while, which reset things and allowing it to generate up to 4psi boost until you pushed any harder and then the boost went completely away. I have e85 back in it now but with no help to the problem. DTC code says Powertrain Malfunction reduced no boost.
Any advice out there?
As @Ducati1098 mentioned. You should never use anything other than E85 when the E85 tune is loaded. Also, you should never tow with one of ZFG’s tunes unless he makes a specific tow tune for you.

Also, Adam can load your tunes onto the TDN network, so can flash tunes with your mobile phone using the TDN app. You will still need the MPVI3 device to do so, but you won’t have to carry around a laptop.

Yes, I understand all of this, but when you drive 2-hours to pick up your little utility trailer (weighs about 1,500#s) and you realize you left the MPVI3 device at home (I have a 93 tune as well) you have to decide if you are going to chance it or drive 6-more hours (back and there and back). I took a chance. I normally carry e85 jugs with me just in case I can't find any, however I left them at home as well........getting old sucks! FYI I have pulled this trailer many times on e85 with no ill effect.

Yeah that’s quite the predicament. Even though I use the app to flash tunes I still carry my laptop with me on long drives. Anyway, sucks that it happened and I hope that no damage was done to your Bronco.

Problem found and resolved. The intercooler discharge hose clamp had worked loose ( did I mention that I hate CVFs clamps)? Of course it’s the hardest clamp to reach and I don’t know how I missed it the other night But that was it!
I was able to rip a 0-60 of 4.9 after the fix.😁
