Hey all,

I have a 2022 Badlands Mid Pack. I did a retrofit to add the 2021 hvac module and get the temp display dials. I am looking for someone to share APIM and HVAC as built values from a 2021 (or maybe 2023) so I can see what values may disable the screen overlay temperatures on the 8 inch display. Similarly, if anyone has any ideas, let me know...

I tried disabling "temperature repeater", "climate dual overlay", and "climate overlay mode". None of these resulted in removing the overlay popup when changing temp or the temp displaying at the top of the screen.

Thanks in advance!

I'd be interested to know if anyone that has the temp on the knobs from the factory does not have the temp on the screen - I would assume it is on the screen as well as the knobs from the factory.

This is a good question, ha. I guess I just assumed Ford wouldn't default it to two places... 😅

Like the side by side speedometers? :ROFLMAO:

And I was disappointed about the temp on the knobs, but now I'm actually happy I don't have them as the interior is less "busy" ;)

Did you ever find the information you were looking for? I am thinking about tackling this soon. I don't like the temp on the display. Makes it too busy.

I have a 23 with temp knobs. I have not played with forscan yet but assume the APIM and HVAC as built values are thru that. I just received my OBD2 yesterday and I can try looking tonight. Unless you happen to know which address to check in the as built modules

That would be awesome! I don't know the address yet and haven't seen anything that worked in the plain text mode. If you want to pm me your as built values, I can search for differences between the two. Happy to share mine as well. As built can be downloaded from here without even plugging in...

I got it off the 8 inch. Not sure exactly what combo got it off though. In apim, I changed status bar temp (on 7d0-02), turned off temp repeater, turned off fan repeater, went into hvac and changed it to centerstack. Back in apim I enabled climate domain then disabled it again and I think that dual write maybe got the values to finally take. Sometimes the modules can be a bit finicky in my experience.
