The Bronco slot machine just landed on Trip 7's and I sit here in the windowless smoke filled Ford Casino waiting for the bells and lights to go off, nothing but silence. As you can see I've taken over a white elephant gift to track the days so I don't forget. But unlike many still on here I have a vin, blend, built and ship date for my BL. And since May I've even been able to get it on the Ford app so I've been tracking it along the way. It has made 4 stops in Michigan during the chippocalypse of "22, a diesel repair shop, nondescript parking lot, an airport and finally the MAP train yard. Where it sat in the lot for a week and then moved to track 3 (from the west) where it sat for 3+weeks waiting to move. It sat so long she went to sleep and I could no longer track it. Well about 10 days ago it came back to life and it was in my local train yard where it move around again until it went to sleep again, battery not loving this hurry up and wait crap, and finally coming to a stop on what looks to be a car hauler lane. How do I know you ask? Well, really I don't but the location data won't refresh but once a day and around the same time so my guess is its on the bottom row with cars above and the signal will only get out when the signal can bounce off a French satellite (deep reference there, good luck) and our satellite is in a certain position. Funny thing is Ford, orderapp and my dealer order system show it as delivered. Well that caused 24hrs of chaos until she came back online and I could see that her location is still the train yard. And like may others I impatiently await.....
Don't let the join date fool you I've been here for plenty of pineapple pizza party's, chair tossing sessions and disgraced MAP photo bombers. I was just that creepy guy in the corner that everyone whispered about until I'd popup and say something inappropriate or awkward and slink back to my favorite corner. It has been interesting to see the users come and go depending on delivery and mods where mostly all that's left are newbies and angry long timers (like myself) just yelling at clouds or telling people to get of their lawn. But it truly has been cathartic reading of other's trouble or builds and adventures, dreaming about my own.
Ok. TL;DR therapy session over.
I will just slink my way back to by corner of the inter webs now, happy adventures and as always "hang in there"!
