Picked one of these up from your Amazon store but won't be able to use it. On the drivers side it contacts my calf when using the gas pedal. 6 or 7 mm narrower it may have missed it, but where it is I would start to have pain on a long drive with it located there. I'm sure it won't be a problem for others, but I tend to have larger calves due to my weight lifting and running.

Ironic. That's one of the reasons I like that cubby. I ordered it and installed it temporarily (without using the 3m tape). Thought it might bother me. I actually use it as a sort of leg 'rest' during longer drives. I'm a decent sized person at 6'3" 230lbs and have large legs / calves.

The comment about the bottom is a reply to an earlier post. I think it's a size issue with the overall mold. But, it is not critical.

The critical aspect is that the velcro tape does not adhere to the backing carpet because it is not placed far enough out from the hole.

No. They are independent thoughts about two different issues.

The comment about the bottom is a reply to an earlier post. I think it's a size issue with the overall mold. But, it is not critical.

The critical aspect is that the velcro tape does not adhere to the backing carpet because it is not placed far enough out from the hole.

Ironic. That's one of the reasons I like that cubby. I ordered it and installed it temporarily (without using the 3m tape). Thought it might bother me. I actually use it as a sort of leg 'rest' during longer drives. I'm a decent sized person at 6'3" 230lbs and have large legs / calves.

I'm going to use a heat gun on it and see if I can push it back a bit and see if it will stay. It needs just about 6 mm. The average calf size for a guy is no higher than about 40 cm, but for me, I'm about 45cm.

I thought about resting my leg there, but the issue is the edge creating a pressure point. No doubt that would create an issue over time.

No the bottom of the cover that is nearest to the floor of the car. The seats have hinges and the cover is touching them and it needs to have a bit of material removed so it’s not colliding with them so much. I posted a picture of the area the green lines are where I’m talking about
