Mabett vs Havoc tube doors?

I’ve been searching for a comparison between these tube door options for a four door. Mabbet is around $800 right now for a set of four while Havoc is about $900. Any real world impressions comparing these two? I’ve seen threads on them individually but am wondering how they compare. Thanks!

You must have missed Mabett's recent posts. These were on sale for 25% off last week. 4 doors for less than $400. There is a thread started that is reviewing them. So far, the only knock is the installation video is lacking but product seems pretty solid.

related question - has anyone decided to make a soft side cover for tube doors?? I know you can stow the stock doors easily on the vehicle, but that also takes up a ton of storage room. just thinkin maybe an opportunity here to have some weather protection if you're gonna be out with the door left at home and the weather changes on ya. obviously without full door frames you probably couldn't install windows as part of it... just kinda thinkin out loud here

I have the Mabett 4 Dr tube doors.

They are great so far! Installation instructions do need to be updated a bit, but it all makes sense once you are in it.

I only use the back tube doors, so if someone is looking for the front doors for the 4 dr, I have a brand new set!

I have a set of Havocs. Got them on sale back in march for just over $800, plus waiting on a $100 card, so just over $700 all in.

Easy install and solid door. For the install, I quickly found out the easiest way to adjust them:

• Loosely bolt the hinges on per the instructions
• Putt the door in place and close/latch it
• Lift up on the rear part of the door and tighten up the hinge bolts

Both fronts rattled a little after a week, but some "gentile persuasion" with a pry bar wrapped in a shop rag to put more pressure on the rubber stopper completely killed the rattle. Just be careful inside the door latch box so you only bend the metal with the rubber stopper on it.

In fact, just pulled them off Sat as it's getting too hot and dusty for tube doors here. We went tooling around Wickenburg, and I'm glad I did as it's really dusty and it took my 5 hours to clean all the dust out after our last doorless off road trip. Will put them back on when the highs get back down to 100 or less.

Funny, I've been thinking I only want the front doors! But shipping from CT would be pretty much a deal killer....

I had no plans on getting tube doors then Mabett posted. Figured for $400 it’s worth it to just have. I bet this price will be the new norm or lower. Bunch of tube doors on Amazon and EBay now.
