Over the years I’ve owned many vehicles with leather seats. I know how to care for those. However the Bronco will be my first that has marine grade vinyl seats.

How does one care for these? Do they require as much attention as leather, with the regular cleaning/conditioning?

Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve had vinyl seating in my VWs for years. Love the stuff. Bombproof. No maintenance required aside from the occasional wipe down.
By wipe down you just use a cloth and some warm water - that’s it? I was hoping these would be less of a hassle to upkeep than leather! :)

My first thought is that the owners manual will advise what to use on it and what not to use.

I would find something that provides UV protection... Also, plastic/vinyl protectants with lots of silicone in them are considered inferior by the detailer crowd...
I'd trust products from 3M or Meg's 👍🏻

Don’t use 303 protectant on your seats- you will be sliding around like crazy and holding on for dear life 😀
Here's my go-too
Was coming here to say this exact thing
It is absolutely the best stuff for vinyl and plastic but it is too slick for sitting or standing on.

I’d use something like this, it’s meant for interior stuff and it doesn’t leave your seats slippery at all. I use it all the time on my vinyl seats in my rebel.

Naw, man, you gotta know how to apply it. Get yourself a microfiber cloth and hit that with the 303. Give it a light touch on the seats with the rag and you won't be sliding anywhere.

Also, buy the correct formula. I don't know what you're using but the stuff I buy has never been an oil slick after application.

What is the formula you are using? I just have what I would call "regular" - it's been around forever and it does make stuff super slick.
