Oh yeah, I have a thread in here. I haven't done much to the Bronco lately, because honestly, it's right about where I want it. Anything else I want to do, I want to break or wear out the original stuff first. Crossing over 10,000 miles, I've driven it through some stuff didn't think I would get through and pulled out some stuff I didn't think I could shift.
One thing has bothered me that whole time, and it's the cheesy little plastic-capped shift knob Ford gave us.
I finally ordered a factory height replacement from Twisted Shifterz for myself, an early birthday present. I installed it today and I am very impressed with the feel - the factory height adapter works extremely well with the lockout collar, and the smooth, hard knob (giggity) feels much better in the hand. Looks great, too.

Finally got the little beast back after 68 days in service at Bob Tomes Ford.
Had an evap system issue fixed, and addressed SSM 53981 (window rattle), SSM 55009 (park brake function limited), and the big one, SSM 54818 - 7MT scraping/grinding noise.
During this service I watched it sit for weeks at a time. Now it smells like greasy auto tech inside, and they sent it through an automatic carwash that taco-ized my front plate.
Really though, I'm just happy to have it back. It's too hot outside to really verify if the grinding issue has been resolved, but I didn't hear it going into work in the morning. It seems to shift just fine.
All that time in the sun was fatal to the Warn badge on the winch, which completely melted off the gel coat and made it run down the face. I have a replacement from Warn ready to go, but I decided to just leave both off for now.
