MGV color

I like the MGV color combo in the black diamond trim, but think I will need the bad lands trim to get other features I want like 12” screen, 10 speaker audio, etc. Bad lands solid black MGV look isn’t exciting to me, but that’s all they offer and the black diamond caps out at mid level features. Anything I am missing?

No your understanding is correct. I haven't seen it in person but I've heard the MGV in the Badlands is more of a charcoal grey. I had the same thoughts. Ended up ordering a Badlands.

Not missing anything.

Not sure how hard it would be but you might post up an interior swap in the wanted sections once you get your ride. I can see others liking the badland MGV but getting black diamond.

Yeah MGV in the Badlands is more of a dark grey than a black. I think it looks good in person.

No, “sideview mirror LED approach lamps and spotlight” are described below on a similar vehicle…

The Spotlight is the white LED that shines sideways.
The Security Light is a white LED on the bottom of the mirror that turns on and shines on the ground when you click the "Unlock" doors.
The BLIS is hidden behind the mirror in the bottom corner.

There is also more of a "flood" light on the bottom of the mirror that is available on some models.

I drove a Badlands with MGV at the Off-Roadeo and the best way to describe the look and color of MGV is that it looks like black stainless steel up close…

It is. It's definitely a dark gray than a true black.

It’s a shame it also doesn’t serve as a turn signal which is a nice safety feature and seems like it could have easily been incorporated into the design.
