I added sound deadening to my panels and want to cover up the exposed silver side. Is there a specific/good fabric I can use to make it look halfway decent?

Where did you put it that it’s exposed to be seen? That’s meant for metal behind panels/carpet or the back side of a plastic panel.

I have a soft top and if I was in your situation, I will do the same. Subwoofer box carpet from auto zone or any car parts store. It's flexible enough to mold around creases. Use 3m or gorilla glue spray adhesive and the same roller you used for the sound deadening panels to press the carpet on. Prepping the area is the key.

Be careful when cutting the carpet as the MIC panels are tricky. I will try a piece of carpet and left over deadening to see how it adheres first (the foil backing might be tricky to glue).
