I tried Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating and the texture looks and feels extremely similar. The spray color is very slightly darker (I sprayed on a piece of glossy cardstock paper) but maybe with dirt, weather, and sun exposure the color will look more identical.

Is this the winner most people are going with?

Does anyone have before/after pictures?

OP did you ever find something you were happy with?

I had to push a downed tree out of the way and it dug into my modular bumper a bit more than expected LOL. I wanna match as best I can and prevent rust.

I suggest visiting local auto body supply store for SEM or similar professional brand and some 240 sand paper along with degreaser.

Also look at Rubberized under coat in black, also opaque, then there's European style undercoat / rock guard that has smoother texture as well as paintable one.

I had to make a repair of a small blemish on my DV8 mini bull bar, not the modular bumper, after a semi truck drifted backwards into me:

Unfortunately I was not paying attention until he was about to hit me. But fortunately, his trailer crash bar mostly hit my front tow hook and just put a quarter-size scar into the bull bar:

I just ground down the scab and the deep grooves with a Dremel tool:

Then directly sprayed the exposed metal with the Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating thru a hole in a piece of cardboard. I didn’t try to make it perfect with any filler to restore the shape, tho I could have used a little black primer or more paint on the spot to help blend the color contrast better. You can see the color and texture comparison in this video:
