Anyone know what this is? I tried cleaning it off but it’s on there good. I though it might be rust or the powder coat is thinning out

I have not seen a spray paint repair yet that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. Someone on the forum mentioned a textured paint in another post but I have not tried it and forget the name. Based on past experience I’m doubtful.

Try “Steel-It” if they refuse to cover it under warranty. It’s a “powder coat like” coating in a $40 rattle can that works wonders, but has to be applied properly. I have used it on metal bumpers before with great results.
