That’s a good video. Way better than most exhaust videos.
Glad to hear it! We really wanted to take a chance to give everyone an idea of what to really expect from day to day.

It's just an axle back, not really a performance mod.

Modern cars do not see much hp gains from exhaust mods until they are tuned. MRT does not claim any HP gains on the dyno cause if we were on a dyno with a Bronco here in Michigan the results we see would be different than someone testing the same thing in Colorado all depending on environment. An exhaust is a great start to open up flow for your engine and turbo but to take full advantage install an MRT axle back, intake and then get the ford performance tune.

@MRTperformance is there a weight difference between this and the stock axle back on the 2.7 equipped Bronco?
Yes there is a difference between the two. The stock 2.7L muffler weighs 25 pounds and the MRT Trail Rated weighs about 15lbs.

I am looking to get the trail rated setup, i already have the ford tune and a HF filter, do you guys have any idea if any gains, or is it more just allowing it to breath finally.

While we haven't specifically measured performance gains with the combination of the Trail Rated Axle Back exhaust, Ford tune, and HF filter, the straight-through design resonator of the Trail Rated Axle Back is intended to relieve backpressure. This can contribute to quicker turbo spool and increased exhaust flow. Essentially, it allows your vehicle to breathe more efficiently, complementing the effects of the Ford tune and HF filter. While we can't provide exact figures, the combination of these mods is designed to work together synergistically for an enhanced overall performance. Feel free to enjoy the benefits of improved exhaust flow and turbo response with confidence.

FYI - We have also extended our sale through January 2nd!
