I just took ownership of a 2 door outer banks bronco. I am looking into putting mud flaps on the vehicle. Looking for brands , tips, or tricks that may help me. I have a stock running board, and will not be putting large off road tires on. Thanks in advance.

So do a bunch of other folks, which is why there are a bunch of threads on this topic. Give it a quick search first and you’ll probably find the info.

Since you have a running board the Amazon/mabett/IAG versions will work well. If you take the running boards off you will need much larger flaps to keep the rocks off the rockers and doors.

If you will do moderate offroading you will need to a) get rid of the running boards and b) get mudflaps that are somehow detachable when you go offroad. Otherwise you will shred the flaps the first time you come down from an obstacle. If you will not be doing offroading then anything will do - the cheaper the better. I like how the ones above look - no needless branding.

that brand is what I am leaning towards. Did you have to modify/move the running boards? It seems like they are a little to far forward.? Do you have any pictures ?

No, they fit just fine with the running boards
