hey B6G world! Thought I would start a journal here about my bronco journey
Start off with the truck details, my reservation eventually turned into a '23 4 door non sas badlands in velocity blue. Speced out with high package, tow, MIC top, leather, 2.3 l & manual transmission.
My reservation date was 7/24/20, my order date was 10/27/22, scheduled build date 12/17/22, blend date 12/19/22 & delivery date of 12/27/22. I have to say I was very surprised the truck only took 2 months to get built, and in light of recent Ford announcements I feel very fortunate.
Like so may here I was waiting for Ford options to hopefully come thru such as the colour matched top. When Ford announced the end of price protection in the fall of 22 it was time for me to move on or order.
Dealership experience was actually very good, something I am not used to. My only gripe was the salesman was slow to return calls, but beyond that he was fantastic. Price was below MSRP, no price fighting or last minute hidden costs.
Overall I love the truck, it is a fantastic vehicle with good pavement manners and very capable off road. I plan to use this a my daily driver and will get to enjoy it on some off road trails as well. When Ford announced I knew I wanted a manual, but would have purchased the largest engine they offered. The 2.3 is fine, the truck does not feel underpowered but I would love some extra torque as this trim / model is verrrryyy heavy. I do plan on getting the performance tune and possibly other power adders such as downpipe, exhaust & intercooler upgrades.
First time seeing truck on dealers lot
first day driving to work
