HI.

I have a 2024 OBX with Lux package including the B&O stereo. I replaced all of the speakers and amps with JL. I have an audio background, so i am positive its all hooked up correctly. The Audio sounds " squashed" i.e compressed. I replaced the rear pods with JL 6.5's and they seem to be EQ'd for the old speakers and aren't putting out nearly what they can / should be. I installed the Bronco specific JL sub box and it's lackluster. I understand from reading these forums that you cannot flatten out the LuX package on Forescan like you can do with the base stereo system. Is this correct? Am I stuck with what the screen/ stereo is putting out for signal? If I'm not stuck, how do i get a flat signal?

Thanks!

I donโ€™t know myself but am going to tag along this post for when I upgrade my sound system in the BBR.

My understanding is this is why you get an A2B compatible amp with the B&O system - so you can get the raw digital audio stream before itโ€™s processed by the OEM DSP.

So if you have an A2B amp with a DSP - itโ€™s all tuning through whatever app/program your amp comes with. If you installed a speaker-level ampโ€ฆ you are kinda stuck without getting more equipment in there - at which point your best option is probably getting an A2B DSP amp

I installed a PAC AP4-FD31 which takes the audio output from the car and sends it to the amp. I have all the settings flat on the PAC, which is why i feel its getting the signal manipulated before it reaches the PAC
