2023 non B&O sound system. I have replaced all but the subwoofer and that is my next step. I want to keep subwoofer in original location because I have Molle panels in the back and basically all the room in the rear is spoken for.
I was wondering if I could use a B&O subwoofer box (8" vs 6.75") in place of my existing subwoofer and if it would a direct fit and wiring?

Does anyone know if this is possible?

The B&O enclosure itself is a direct fit in the Bronco

Everything else is different.

The B&O enclosure is 6.5" as well, it just has a collar you can pop out to make an 8" fit.

You can make the same 8" fit in the standard enclosure with just a little bit of trimming. Plenty of threads around here that talk about exactly how - it isn't hard at all.

Also - Additive Audio has 3D printed enclosures that can fit up to a 8 or 10" that bolts into the same spot, if you want to drop a bit of money on it.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the JL Stealthbox, which also fits in the stock location. But most people are underwhelmed by how it sounds, especially for the cost.

I was just looking at that on line. And for over 1k it better sound amazing. I think I will start by trimming the box and spending 200 bucks on a low profile sub and go from there.

Thanks for all the input
