Only front panels, rack needs to be off for middle (4 door only) and back.

Wait, you have to take the roof rack off right?

I was trying to see if I could get my front sections removed today, but it seemed like too much interference to slide the sections out.

Front sections can come out BUT it is finicky and you have to wiggle them just right to do it. Going back on is the same.

Middle needs rack off .

So do you try to slide them out the sides then or up through the middle?

Slide them out the sides.
Unlatch, lift up, wiggle back (just a bit), pull them out from the sides.
I have it down pat. It takes me longer to put them in the bag than to take on and off.

The key is close the front latches before sliding them out.

I tried mine the other day. They come off, just takes a little finesse. I had to slide it back, on top of the middle section just a bit. And close the front hold down clamp

Yup I did get them out, I didn't know if they were supposed to be able to be removed with the rack on, once I knew, a little pushing was no big deal. It took a little messing with the angle of the dangle, but I got it, Thanks!
