Then why are you adding it?Understood, I guess what I should have said, would it affect the flex? Lol, I do not know, I know what they are for, I have it on my GT500, and I have a diamond brace on my 68. Both stiffen the chassis for cornering. I guess, I do not understand why a strut brace would be used on a Bronco? It would seem if it was needed, the BRaptor would have one.
You apparently never wheeled an 80's bronco...lol.. after enough flexing the c channel frames would start flexing / destroying body mounts... left unchecked you could flex beyond 12" of frame twist.... Should it do it... meh .. the way I understand the c channel frame was to make it ride less stiff... ie flex... I could be misinformed however.Frames should not articulate. Suspension should articulate.
The frame doesn't flex because it's old. It was engineered to do that.Old tech is also old
and that’s also a farm tractor that can drive on the road not a road going vehicle that can offroad
but you know that
My 42 dodge flexed so much the tailgate would open on big bumpsYou apparently never wheeled an 80's bronco...lol.. after enough flexing the c channel frames would start flexing / destroying body mounts... left unchecked you could flex beyond 12" of frame twist.... My 96 is c channel as well but has not been abused beyond body mount stiffness.
Oh. You mean the comment of old techThe frame doesn't flex because it's old. It was engineered to do that.
I'm surprised you didn't know that.
i do. It’s OLD technologyThe frame doesn't flex because it's old. It was engineered to do that.

or modern enough to point out as a feature on the current chassis.Oh. You mean the comment of old tech

i do. It’s OLD technology
I’m old enough to have worked on and driven them
yea like - how many people are seeking out washboards to hit at 80 mph.... I guess people just want to spend money on stuff to screw on....I suppose you guys are hitting speed off-highway to need this? I run that slower crowd and don't expect much flex. I did think about the B for added roll strength. Just wondered weather you guys are more looking for (God forbid) roll strength or more for Baja style running.
I thought the BRaptor did have this exact brace. Or was that sarcasm? It would seem if it was needed, the BRaptor would have one.

I was speaking about THIS brace.I thought they did too.
Show ready styling. With the Steeda plaque front and center, people will know that you only equip your Bronco with the best. Perfect for the Bronco owner that enjoys car shows and meets and wants a unique engine bay. Stainless steel hardware provides a lasting finish and great looks.
You were right.Understood, I guess what I should have said, would it affect the flex? Lol, I do not know, I know what they are for, I have it on my GT500, and I have a diamond brace on my 68. My 21 has them, but it was sporadic or late builds only can’t remember.I don’t believe they’ll fit the 21 (in particular the C-Bow Brace as the rear roll bar doesn’t have the nutserts installed from the factory to install it.) The B-Bow might fit but I’m not sure. I’m not sure about the GOAT Fab pieces as I haven’t seen them. These are probably less expensive versions of those that came in the Bronco Raptor.
