New lugs

So I must be picky or something, but I getting all new wheel and tires for my rig. This includes new lugs with secure locks/lugs. The problem is that I can get 24 of the same but not the three extra for the spare, even another 6 for one tire isn’t doable.

I am not spending over $3k for wheels and tires and not doing some basic security on them.

oh and I want to stay all black, no chrome.

it would seem that these package deals would cover the spare tire too.

My guess is they're not thinking 4x4's with the exposed wheel. I would assume wherever you're looking you could contact them and find out.

Contact McGard and see what they can do. I think they have kits for cars with 5 wheels. Those are the ones Ford provides if you buy locking nuts from them

Got it. Are you putting locking nuts on every bolt on the used rims and three on the spare?

I just pieced together a set of McGards.
McGard 84658 (20 lugs +4 locks), a matching set of 4 lugs to get the spare covered, and then I ordered another lock from McGard for the spare that matched the other 4 locks. I'll have 2 extra for future replacements if I ever need them.

I ordered them back in July when I thought my Bronco was about to get shipped, 4 months later and it's still sitting at MAP and they're still on the shelf in my garage.
If I don't get it by the end of the year, I'm going to walk away and would be willing to sell the lug nuts to you.

I just bought a set of 24 non-locking lugs and a set of 5 locking lugs. I have a couple of extra regular lugs.

I've had them for a year and a half and they're still looking great. While I know this is HARDLY a locking system, it does provide a small deterrent to someone with just a lug wrench. Just know that a determined individual can defeat even the most expensive locks.
