Hi y'all -

I'm Jon, am not yet a Bronco owner, have a few good miles left on my 2009 Tahoe, have taken it some fairly heinous places, and have never even been in a Bronco. Sad story, to be sure.

I'm into canyoneering, hiking, mountain biking, peakbagging, and amateur radio. I'm an electrical engineer by profession, and work mostly on large civil infrastructure projects across the country.

Welcome aboard Jon. Where are you at on the crazy wait time. Did you order yet or buying off the lot? I work with several electrical engineers by education, IT by trade.

Hi Mark -

Embarrassingly, I haven't even placed an order. I have a thing about actually sitting in a representative vehicle and maybe even being able to drive it Prolly not gonna happen...

The Tahoe has new tires, a new used tranny, and all new front control arms and such. So I'm not in a super hurry.

I've been lurking for well over a year. I'm starting to think that I should just sh*t or get off the pot, order, and then see what happens?

Hopefully in order to gain some street creds, I'm posting a pic of my Tahoe, just last June, on the Dollhouse trail in Canyonlands. Yeah, I carry 6' ramps, just in case.
