From what I recall, the honeycomb design was an effort to make the top lighter. Is that effort being abandoned ? Either way, I assume the new design will be heavier. If I had a good MIC top now, I would think about not replacing it.

Recall of all the hard tops is a drastic step. Ford would not have done it if they weren’t total crap.

Another thing, Ford didn't mention. Are we also getting a replacement headliner or are they reusing the existing one ?

I expect it to be exact same weight. GVWR are set, certified, and stickered. One of the challenges.
