Honest question here...

Why do most of the rock light installs have the lights pointing down from the top of the wheel well illuminating the top of the tire? Isn't the purpose of these to illuminate the ground around the tire for night wheeling?

How many of the would you recommend for a 2 door? I'm thinking 8 but also I wanlt to stick at least one under the hood.

I'm not sure what would be the best to get the most light both under and around the vehicle.

I'm either thinking 2 in each wheel clocked at like 2 and 10 (in this case I'd probably order 10+ so I can have working lights under the hood.)

or

1 at the top of each wheel, 1 on each side at the center of the vehicle between the frame, 1 on the back side somewhere and then 1 as a work light under the hood

I'm mostly worried that 8 of them won't be enough for that riding on a cloud of white light look I want and I'll end up having to wait months for more to arrive

Just 1 controller is all you need. The 8 pack kit includes the splitters.

The bluetooth controller has 4x M8 connections on it, but the 8-pack includes some splitters to make it all work
