Ford's entire suite of software products is a joke. This is not a company that understands modern information technology.

They don't even include release notes with vehicle software updates, which teenagers publishing to the App Store know to do.

I mean... honestly... pretty par for the course. Some of the largest and most profitable software companies in the country do exactly the same thing.

(As someone who works in technology, I agree with you—drives me bonkers. It's like the entire software industry forgot what release notes were.)

Many of those will provide a list when you open them. Apple just had a list in last update. I’m more concerned with what Ford is doing with a 50k+ vehicle vs Amazon video services.

I turned off updates and pulled fuse 20 on mine (phone home module). Likely an Oct 2023 update broke my 360 cameras and took almost 3 months of parts swaps to get it to work (Every camera/cable, impa, impb, apim etc) . Ford corporate/engineering was involved. If everything works...no reason to roll dice with an update.
