Hello to all

I recently joined the site. I have an 2 DR Outer Banks on reserve. My only new vehicle was a Ford F-150 purchased in 1999 when Ford introduced the 4 door F-150.

I have owned a few trucks with my favorite Ford being a '96 F-250 turbo diesel king cab (7.3). I like diesels and if the Bronco had a diesel it would be my choice, My current truck is an '02 Chevy 2500 HD diesel. Great truck. ( I know, Ford heresy)

I am interesting in learning from the site about the different trim levels. Practically, my use of the Bronco will be mud roads and timber cuts. I vacillate between the Outer Banks and the Badlands.

Excited about the new Bronco. I do wish the 2 DR had the slide out tailgate of the 4 DR.

I look forward to learning from the site and sharing any information I find that may help others on the site.

Best

I may be changing trim level as well once the pricing tool is out. It looks like by the time I upgrade the OBX to the bigger engine and add a Sasquatch package I may push myself into a Badlands. Or, just strip it down to basic.

So refreshing this thread to the current date. I had two Broncos on order in '22 and '23. Both fell through. Waited to see the new Landcruiser and FJ. Now that I have seen these, back to the Bronco.

I had read earlier this year that the 2026 Bronco had a number of engine and transmission improvement along with better sound deadening. Looking at the '26 build and price, the only real change I see if fewer colors and painted roofs.

I am a two door guy and have heard 2026 may be the last year for two doors. I am also getting calls from local dealers about '25's and even some 24's.

My ideal is a Badlands two door, 4 cylinder, manual. I like the improvements I read about for '26 but am unsure if its worth the wait particularly if I can get a good deal on a new '24 or '25. I am not opposed to a Black Diamond or Wildtrak (but not sure the WIldtrak cam in a 2 door).

Hoping the experienced member can get me back up to speed.

Thanks in advance.

I think if you can get a new '24 or '25 at a good discount I'd go that route.

You can also find some new 2dr '24 Heritage Limited Editions out there with good discounts, that's how I picked up mine.
