Great build. Being from Delco and having relocated to Maryland, this is a great build for our geography. The Bronco was built for the rest of the US that doesn’t live in Colorado 😂
thanks @jehines3 🤙🏻

Even in the 80s the off-road magazines only featured either desert or rocks. Meanwhile here I am stuck in 3 feet of stinky marsh mud. 😂

it’s been fun traveling and learning new terrain and techniques

the cockpit cover combined with the jtop has worked out well keeping the pop-up rain and overnight moisture out.

First gremlins.
  • collision system fault
  • blind spot system fault
  • cross traffic system fault
(cleared on restart)
  • 12” Screen started freaking out like something was pushing the bottom right, scrolling through the info screens Non-stop.
(cleaned the screen, restated and it hasn’t done it again.)
  • Started it today to have a solid yellow.
  • update: (restarted while at dealer and yellow cleared)

Went to Ford to get service appointment.
  1. oil change and 10k maintenance
  2. windshield recall
  3. door window rattle
  4. address these faults

I’d hate to think a week at OBX in the salt air would cause these issues, but it is suspect in my mind.

I hosed down at the house after every run. Kept the cockpit cover on at night.

Really shouldn’t be an issue even if I didn’t. There’s plenty of people who live at the beach who own Broncos, I would hope Ford engineering took all environments into account. Not just aired ones.

Can’t get into a Ford bay until 8/31. Everything is clear for now.

Nice rig! Im down in Manahawkin frequently in the summer. We have been to Greenwood WMA in Stafford frequently.

I see a sign posted for hidden lake, but I also see the trees marked with spray painted arrows. Is it definitely off limits or can you make it without a hassle?

Here are some screenshots from google maps. The arrow pointing to the intersection that forks to 3 separate roads has a single sign posted for restricted access, but I cant tell if its for all three trails.

ahhh. Okay. The WMA east of Brendan T.
Last I was there it was closed to ORV traffic and was hike in only.

I personally don’t mess around while I’m in the State Parks or WMAs. If I’m remotely unsure, I stay off it until I verify. Not being curmudgeonly about it. Everyone is free to make their own choices. But public land is one of the few things NJ actually does right. I don’t want to be the guy Effin that up. We have a HUGE amount of free trails we can ride.

onX off-road or GAIA are decent with showing routes & land ownership, you can also look up and download the TNJT route. But generally if it’s a State Park or WMA, and it shows up as a “road” on Google Maps, you can drive it.

Yes I use Gaia now which is how I even found those, and the TNJT cuts right thru there and then across to Bass River. There is a ton that is state forest in that ride.

Today we drove and tried to find every road that leads to the Bay. We made it from Salem Co. to The Maurice. Stopped at a lot of unknown to us WMA and state land. Pond. Parks. NJ really does have a lot of open and public space.

Such a change in ecosystem from the pines, to farm land and field, to beautiful brackish marsh scapes

Geez. I haven’t posted in a while. After Im finished I’ll start a new build thread. Over the last year I’ve been planning, mapping, saving, substituting, researching, look for deals, waiting out lead time, until I had stockpiled the parts I wanted to do a complete build. I’ve been in the thick of it the last last month doing as much as I can myself. It will go out for lift and alignment soon.

Just finished the ADD Pro bumper and KC lites install.
