I removed my hardtop last weekend and reinstalled. Since the reinstall the rear tailgate window is making a load annoying noise when the vehicle is torqued. Like on dirt roads or driveway entrance, etc. I open the window and drive no noise.

I have searched the forums has anyone else experienced this noise after the reinstall?

I'm going to reinstall again and maybe lube the rubber just curious if I'm the only one.

Thanks.

Don't have a hard top, but my guess would be the alignment of the top is off in some way. I would loosen all the bolts and then tighten them back down.

I'd always install all the bolts first before tightening them down (don't know if you did or not) and then I would tighten in a crisscross pattern around the hardtop (sort of like the lug nuts of a wheel) to give the best chance of not seating the top awkwardly.
