Noise from engine bay

Im getting a noise from the engine bay that lasts for a couple of seonds after a cold startup when accelerating. Makes the noise once or twice then goes away. Any ideas what it may be?

Sounds a bit like the cam phaser rattle.

Yup I’m pretty sure it’s the cam phasers. Very common failure in 2.7 engines happens after 10-15k miles typically.

Cam phasers don't typically make noise while driving. So if it is phaser related, it may be worse than the typical cam phaser rattle.
Either way, something you should definitely have looked at sooner than later.
