Digging the roof rack. I’ve been looking for a heavy duty one that will let me take top down. Do you like it? Is it difficult to drop
I do like it, but it depends on your uses and priorities. It has increased highway wind noise, you lose position 1 so if you fold back, you have to be in 2 (honestly in the summer, I wouldn't do more than safari style anyway), if you lift beyond sasquatch, it may not clear a standard garage door

If you're wanting to add things like awnings and additional gear storage (box, bikes, ski/board), there are many other options out there that may be able to do the same as this, but you will completely lose soft top function, if you're okay with that. My traction boards are mounted up there too.

Another thing I plan on doing during summer camping is being able to sleep in the car but with the top down and a mosquito net over it, open air sleeping without the bugs!

Reserved 2.3 4 door base sasquatch 7/14/20, switched to soft top in September and delivered 12/10/21.

The intent of this build is for overlanding, not hardcore wheeling so practicality and utility are prioritized. So far I have been able to navigate through 5-6 rated trails (trails offroad app) and that is good enough for me.

Pictures uploaded are jumbled, this is not an all inclusive list.

Exterior/lighting:
GoRhino dominator D6 steps
RIGID ditch lights
M&R light bar
Gobi roof rack
Quake chase light
Warn rear bumper

Interior:
JCR Center console MOLLE
MOLLE tailgate panel (Christmas gift)
Midland GMRS (mounted to center console)
Rugged radio VHF mount/antenna (mounted to diabolical overhead tray)
DIY LED interior lighting ($10 boat lights mounted to roll bar covers)
Diabolical slide floor
Mtns2Metal hydraulic cargo tray

Function/Safety:
RC hidden winch
Mabett transmission skid
Alternator shield

Other:
OVS 270 awning

Your build looks amazing! Love the Gobi roof rack. How difficult is it to raise and lower the rack when you want to put the roof down?

Its straight forward, just two pins up front, secure the strap, then lift. my OVS awning adds 80 pounds so it takes a bit of extra effort, but won't be the case for most others. I lift and walk along my running board, step on my tire for a bit more step, then release the rack gently.

Takes me 10 min by myself to get it open, about 15 min to close (the windows can be finicky getting back into proper place), so not as fast as position 1 which takes 30 seconds but only adds a few min for position 2 if you didn't have the rack.
