OBX Door Handles - Feedback Needed

Good day everyone. I am working to have the door handles and mirror caps on my 2023 Wildtrak sanded, smoothed, and painted/cleared to match the body.

Can someone with an OBX tell me of the inside and outside of the handles are painted or if the inside (where your fingers grip) is black textured plastic?

I am basically trying to figure how much to paint on it to match OEM OBX.

Insides of mine are black. I believe it comes apart and the outer shell is painted.

I saw a WT tonight that had color matched handles and trail sights. I think they were just pop-on covers.

I have a WT as well and wanted color match handles. I bought mine from BFN Truckshop since I have no experience in painting.
The handles themselves are easy to disassemble. On the side of the doors there are plugs, you take those off and with I believe a 5mm socket you loosen the nut. As you are doing that you are pulling on the handle and eventually it pops out.
To take off the cover to paint it, I would follow this video.

For my WT, if I ever plan to color them, I'll go gloss black the way they were originally in '21. Let the OBXs be OBX. Keep the WTs glossy.

I tried following the video with no luck placing the screwdriver where the video shows. Has anyone done this successfully that can provide feedback?
