Anyone used just the front set of oem mud flaps? Only $50 for the oem, didn't know how well made they were and if they helped much.
Trying to keep the rocks and dirt of the doors as much as I can.

If your referring to the ones I think you are they don't fit SAS, so if you have that don't bother. I got them from another site that did not specify that they did not fit the SAS, so I had to returned them because of it. They looked pretty sturdy and should have been easy to install

Yes I saw those threads. I was asking if the oem flaps were worth trying to fit on or wait for weather tech to come out. I dont have SAS flares but I'm running 315's with Go Rhino boards
I ordered a pair of OEM flaps, it seems to be what people are going with. I think they get here tomorrow. The front weather tech for the SAS flares look hideous in my opinion. Huge gap, so I'm not holding out for them.

Even if they are a stop gap till other options come out for $50 I'm getting them to protect my sides. I've got a non-sas Badlands, was spotless 2 days ago and from what I can recall I've only driven through water or anything like that once and my sides are filthy.

I ordered a pair for the front, not realizing they won't work with SAS. The don't align properly with wider SAS fenders. Also, you have to drill two holes in the fender to attach. I'm not too keen on drilling holes in the fender.

What you planning to do with them?

I’m running fronts only on my Black Diamond non SAS with Go Rhino DSS slider steps. I like them and think they are well made

I just modified OEM flaps. I’m not a fan of mud flaps, but, it’s better than beating the crap out of the doors.

Why don't they work with SAS?
I think you could just install them out more toward the fender to block debris.

They were molded to fit non sas fenders and still use the factory mounting holes. There are various posts of people having to trim the flaps so they fit flush like they do with the non sas flairs. Again if they are the ones I’m thinking they are. This read is a few weeks old and I don’t have the motivation to read it again.

I have them at home, but have not mounted yet. I will modify them to fit SAS because I already have stone chips to the metal in passenger door...
