OEM Rock Sliders vs What I Have

I have a BB that came with a rail with step attached. The rail is not attached to the frame. While at the dealer I looked at a BL with a rail, no step and also not attached to frame. What is the difference between the two rails? Are either really true sliders since neither attach to frame? Maybe the best question is, can either be used as a jack point for a hi-lift?

not sure what comes with the BB's, but the standard one on the BL's is rated to hold more than the weight of the vehicle even though it's body mounted.
