Off brand Amazon hidden winch mount-anyone try this?

I installed the ebay clone. The metal is exactly the same thickness as measured by me with calipers. It went on without issue. Sometimes you can spend less and get the same thing.

There are no welds holding the winch plate sides to the plate. It is one piece of steel bent that way.
