Absolutely. I would love to have another EB (Had a 76), but would be too worried to actually use it on the trail. The stock model 20 xfer case was not geared nealy low enough and the steel on those trucks was pretty thin walled. They loved to rust out the floor boards.
I'm with you, the new gen will be better all around for being able to actually use and enjoy the truck, while looking amazing & similar enough to the original.
Hey now I disagree. I live in northern Colorado. we get a lot of hail. Mine sat outside through several storms. no hail dents at all. I see new vehicles everyday that look like golf balls. I 4wheel in mine a lot. A few mods and low gears and it's an unstoppable beast. My floors are solid. I got mine in Arizona. It lived there for a very long time. Picture from this past August. Oh and by the way It's insured for $40k incase I get in that crash that may total it.

Looks nice, but from the prices I've seen $40k wouldn't come close to replacing it.
Enjoy

Agreed, The next step of coverage would cost more than I wanted to pay.

I bought them from CJ Pony Parts before they came out with these came out. Trying to figure out how to attach. Take off posts, fill with something so the adhesive has something to hold on to.
I plan to take off posts and use vhb tape on other emblems, i have some metal and some plastic ones. I don't plan on filing in dead space. Should be ok, time will tell.

I'm curious if the new emblems are filled in, or just the originals with adhesive over the entire emblem, i haven't seen one in person
