Decided to grab these and really like the way they turned out.

It is straightforward. But do yourself a favor and get the rubber bump stops that @broncorik shared in the main Flush Mount Taillight thread. You will need 2 for the driver's side. On the OEM taillight you will see Ford used a foam washer/spacer. Oracle provides a collapsible rubber tubing that is frankly garbage. Save yourself the aggravation and get 2 packs of the universal rubber bump stops.Any issues installing them - Or was it straightforward ?
Welcome. You can reference @broncorik original post with more photos and description.Thank you very much - very clear explanation !

The big one pictured is what you will use. You will drill a hole with 11/32 drill bit. Then take an exacto blade to clean up the hole as rubber doesn't drill cleanly. On the back side, you will note an inside lip. Cut that way. That recessed back opening fits perfectly over the bolt hole and provides a firm but exact spacing needed to gain the flush mount.
