Order Checklist

Sorry in advance if this is posted and I am blind. I searched the site and didn't see anything for an order checklist. After seeing so many folks getting screwed with ADM and/or mandatory dealer installed options, I want to make sure when we put our order in we have everything and anything that will help get it done. My wife and I are planning to put in an order on a 23 4 door 2.3 AT Big Bend with mid, sasquatch, and hardtop. We are in the Tampa area and have already eliminated Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel as they are adding 15K ADM to dealer inventory.

Mods - if this is already somewhere and I missed it I will delete asap.

There is a naughty bad dealerships list in the sticky threads in the ordering and pricing forum.

I haven't seen an ordering checklist.

I would put things like:

1. Review order sheet thoroughly for errors, including making sure priority code isn't 99...sometimes it will be 99 while being placed so ask for copy after order entered.
2. Directly ask about price, ADM, mandatory dealer additions, any other costs, lay they all out. Hopefully there aren't any.
3. Get a sales order that gives you clear pricing, I had a problem getting a sales order but this shouldn't be a problem now that COVP is required.
4. Make sure COVP is being done.
